This is Bailey Girl! 

 

 

Bailey is a sweet pound dog that I was lucky enough to adopt in 2001. Bailey lives in Poway, CA and has a great life. At least twice a month Bailey gets to see a new friend as I pick up a dog off leash roaming the neighborhood and work to return them to their owners. One great example of this is Buddy, a black lab, who lives just down the street and was found on July 29^th, 2005 and returned to his owner. Please see below:

 

On July 18^th, 2005, Bailey also escaped from her home and wandered down the street to visit a friend of hers. Luckily, a sweet girl named Mercedes saw Bailey’s collar and tag, called me and Bailey (the escape artist) was returned safely to her home.

 

Any animal lovers can relate to the experience of finding that your pet has somehow gotten out of your home, and the fear and worry that results from such tragedy.

 

Based on this experience and the fact that at least once a month in my travels, I find a dog off leash and wandering a neighborhood, I have decided to found Donteverdriveby.com. The goal of this charity is to promote advertising and change the mindset of all people to never drive by a pet roaming off leash again and to remind pet owners to make sure their pets are properly tagged at all times.

 

As a Realtor, I donate a portion of my proceeds  to Donteverdriveby.com and also donate a part of my proceeds in my client’s name to Donteverdriveby.com. I am doing this only for the benefit of increasing the marketing effort of changing minds and attitudes in the community to never let a pet be lost or hurt, because they happen to get loose.

 

I am asking for your support in this effort. I have nothing to gain by your donation, only the public and pets have to gain. I am making no money off this, only seeking to change the world one step at a time. Please make sure to Don’t Ever Drive By a loose pet.

 

If you are a fellow Realtor, you especially are out in neighborhoods, please make sure to watch for lost pets and Don’t EVER Drive By.

 

If you are scared of dogs or other pets, call animal control or me, if not, take them in and find their owner. The delight you will find in a worried pet owner’s face will make it worth the effort.
